Hogwarts Live is Back!

Hogwarts Live is back after its first unplanned outage in over a year. There's still some work to be done so if the site runs slower than usual or something to that effect don't worry as it'll only be temporary.

Everyone, thanks for your patience!

Update: We had to roll back the database half a day so some of you may have lost some stats. If you lost any donator points or items acquired with those points, please petition for help. We apologize for the inconvenience. Again, thanks for your patience.

... After the site was fixed, I lost 100 alignment points, my phoenix and suddenly became level 4 again. And i lost my defense item. Please tell me this is temporary! It took me AGES to get to level 14!

I had had the same problem i was in my 7th year and level 13-14 now i have to ve again i lost most of my gems gold items and my phonix

I lost around 200 alignment points, and got bumped back to a first year after being a fourthyear. I lost my broom too! And another friend of mine's account got deleted too. :o

It appears that Danilo had to do a rollback; meaning that he had to use an earlier backup than what was done immediately prior to the upgrade. I have not confirmed this yet, but if that is the case, then there is no way to restore a player's stats to what they were right before the site went offline. Everyone will just have to re-earn those levels/VEs that they "lost."

Don't know if this is anything to do with the update thing, but thought I'd mention it anyway.
On the login screen, it says there's like, 81 people logged in, but on the students list, it's something like 35.. I don't know if this is just me, but anyone know why that is?

@Kaylee- I just checked and it was showing 85 online on the login screen but only 28 actually online. I'm not sure what's causing that. I'll bring it to Danilo's attention. Thanks!

This is a rollback @everyone that lost stuff.
When this happens, a database literally gets 'rolled back'.
Which means it'll get restored or set back to a previous saved point.
All data that you have gathered from point A until point B will be lost.
There's no getting it back.

Oh, and Peeves is acting like he did when I started the game. When he doesn't give me gems, he'll think I'm too pathetic to bother with instead of taking my weapon.

It always says that the sever is full .. is this normal? because before HL got shutdown it didnt always say that and now I have to wait for 2 hours or so to log in again ... is there a way that can prevent this from happening again and again or will it stay that way? thank you for reading

So many changes went to my account: owl post messages, weapons, pets, charm points, gold, gems, levels, hitpoints, even some of my recently added friends are gone, alignment points...

IS THERE REALLY NO WAY TO GET ALL OF THAT BACK????????
