She was suppose to bring luck to her family, thus the reason for her name. And she did. For awhile. But as the child aged, the lucky slowly began to fade, until a miracle happened.

And oh what a miracle it was. The gift of magic, something that her Mother and Father previously believed were just illusions for entertainments sake. Something she even believed was nothing more the slight of hand.

"With this ability you have, we will never have to worry again. Once more you shall live up to your namesake"

And she tried, and tried to. But as much as she tried, she found herself getting further and further away from the expectations that were set for her.

After all, everyone's luck runs out eventually.
