Scott's POV


At this point they had reached the lower Gates of the castle and at Canari's tug he glances down at her with angry, yet sad green eyes. "We have to get out of here, it's not safe. Just hold onto me." He lifts her ontop of the horse, one of the two they had brought in the stables and hops up in front, wrapping her small arms around his middle. Her next question sends a hard punch through his gut and his fingers tighten so much on the reigns of his horse, that the whites of his knuckles showed. "Quiet, Canari." He mutters instead of answering, his back heels clicking against the horse's sides and he and his brother Hex take off hard and fast away from the castle. He just couldn't bring himself to say it.
