"What a beautiful melody." The man picked the wailing infant up from his doorstep with the tenderness of a father holding his child. "I think I will call you... Rhapsody." A smile played at the corner of his lips. He began humming a soft lullaby, lightly rocking the small bundle in his arm until the cries began to subside. Then, mesmerized, he turned and brought Rhapsody inside, completely unaware of the scared, shivering muggle couple watching silent from the shadows.

The man was the closest she ever had to a family. Being different from all the other children held her back in more ways then her adoptive father imagined. Therefore it was to both of their relief when she got her letter on her eleventh birthday. She might be accepted. She had no idea she would still be seen as different.
