Anna's family died from a home invader at a very young age, this awakened her magical powers, which kept her from finding anywhere to call home, she spent most of her childhood sleeping under bridges and stealing food to survive, she is more concerned for herself due to all this, and upon first meeting someone it might be hard to earn her trust.
