Once upon a time there was a little girl. With porcelain skin, pale blue eyes, and dark raven hair she was aptly named Raven. She led a privileged life, spoiled as any child could be. One day that all changed. A secret, a dark terrible secret caught up with her parents. They thought fleeing abroad, to Ireland, would protect them. It didn't. a month later, London's underground had a new inhabitant. With the dirt, the scars (mental and physical), and the rags the new resident could scarce be mistaken for the once proud Raven Delaney. Yet there was something in the way she held herself, the odd lilt in her speech, the way she grinned as if nothing could scare her. Oh yes, it was the little princess, but she wasn't quite as fine as she used to be. Yet, she seemed to think she was.
