Rudiger, Rue, Von Straussburg is the orphaned albino child of the late Freidrich and Elizabeth of the wealthy Von Straussburg family. After losing her parents at the age of seven, she was taken in by her hateful Squib aunt, Martha, who lives in Dover. Rue, who would not come into her inheritance until she was of age, grew up bullied by her spinster aunt. The child who had the sunny smile and starlight in her hair was no more. She became an empty shell with walls of thorns so high that no one has any hopes of climbing over.
This lost child of summer possesses powers that dark wizards could only dream of. Though she has not come into them yet, signs have surfaced.
