Rudiger, Rue, Von Straussburg is the orphaned albino child of the late Freidrich and Elizabeth of the wealthy Von Straussburg family. After losing her parents at the age of seven, she was taken in by her hateful Squib aunt, Martha, who lives in Dover. Rue, who would not come into her inheritance until she was of age, grew up bullied by her spinster aunt. Instead of succumbing to despair, she adapted and became a survivor. She would survive as all Von Straussburgs did. The child who had the sunny smile and starlight in her hair was no more. She learned to hide behind a mask of charm and built walls of thorns so high that no one has any hopes of climbing over; she stopped trusting people. She became ambitious and hungry for knowledge with only vestiges of her innocence remaining as she learned more about the Dark Arts.
Rue possesses powers that dark wizards can only dream of.
