AshleyLockett (She/Her) is a muggle-born witch living in London, England. She wields a 11½" Ash, Phoenix Feather wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat.

About Me

She was the complete opposite of herself.

She was simple.

She enjoyed the little things in life, the small things no one else really noticed. The blooming flowers of the spring, the cool breezes of the summer, the changing colors of autumn, the fresh snow of winter. She found delight in things like books and writing and music. She listened to others when she needed to. Simple.

She was complicated.

She was upset easily; seeing others sad made her own heart ache. She was picky; she had specific ways of doing things, such as how she wrote her notes and how she organized things. She was stubborn; she didn't like to go along with people most of the time. It was how she was. A bit complicated.

She was an observer.

She absolutely adored the sounds of a quill scratching against a sheet of clean, crisp parchment. She loved the texture of a book's pages as she flipped through them, her eyes darting back and forth. She loved how poetry sounded, how the words fused and flowed together. She laughed at other's jokes, delighted by their wit. It was what she did best.

She wasn't a creator.

She was terrible at stringing her owns words together to sound as thoughtful as her books did. She couldn't write a decent work that people would actually want to read. She couldn't make a proper speech without stammering or sounding a bit mental. She couldn't make others laugh for the life of her. It just wasn't her.

She was happy.

She was smart. She could entertain herself. She was independent. She was fine.

She was sad.

She was confused. She was awkward. She was vulnerable. She was lonely.

Ashley Lockett was the complete opposite of herself. And she was so very lost.
