Ataea is a shy, Asian girl who is always slightly hunched over. Her quiet demeanor hides a fierce desire to be strong and capable. The Sorting Hat was torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, as she cherishes knowledge and has a strong desire to learn. However, her thirst for power and strength outstrips by far her desire for knowledge.

Ataea is a Muggle-born whose parents are rather indifferent to the magical world. She enjoys this escape from the mundane and is always glad to be away from home.
