Cyllian was a normal child, like any other. Her parents fought, but it was never drastic. They had money, old money. Both of her parents were powerful wizards. She was no different from anyone else. Until one night, everything changed.

"Mommy, mommy where are you?" There was blood everywhere. "Mommy, please!" She would never again hear her mother's voice.

Her father murdered her mother in front of her. He made Cyllian watch. Then he tied her to her mother's body and left her there for three days. Three days she lay there, bound and gagged, pressed against her mother's decaying body. The picture of her mother's eyes still haunts her dreams every night.

Cyllian was named the sole heir of the Rousseau fortune. She has no family, and due to a glitch in the legal system, she lives alone. Everything she could ever want, all the money she could ever need, and she lacks the one thing she wants the most. Love. Family.

Since that fateful night, Cyllian hasn't spoken a single word. In all these years, she has not talked. She's beginning to wonder if she ever will again.
