This prophecy was read to Amrhyn Veridia, Skye's mother, right before Skye's birth. It was delivered by Amrhyn's mother, a deeply respected Seer. Determined to protect her daughter, Amrhyn gave her husband, Callum, instructions to take her daughter and hide her deep in the hidden majesties of Ireland. She knew instinctively that the first line of the prophecy foretold her death in childbirth.

Amrhyn was correct, and drowning in grief, Callum took his daughter to the secret place they had prepared after her birth. Skye, from the beginning, was a bright and beautiful child, with an unsatiable thirst for knowledge and strong magical talent. Callum never noticed this. He blamed Skye for the death of his beloved wife and drank himself into an early grave when Skye was five. She was shuffled from foster home to foster home, always abandoned because of her strange abilities. She was finally adopted, soon after she got her Hogwarts letter, by a Hogwarts professor.

Skye is bright and bubbly, but weighted down by the secret prophecy she alone must fulfill. A deep underlying fear constantly fills her heart. The fear that one day, Everything will change.
