Darya aka Darya Kurovska (She/Her) is a 26 year old (DOB: February 12, 1998) pure-blood witch living in Howsham Hall. She wields a 10" Oak, Dragon Heartstring wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. Her favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and her favorite Harry Potter character is Hagrid.

About Me
Darya is an 11 year old army brat from the Ukraine, usually found curled up on a tall particularly precarious looking stool in the library, pawing at her fathers letters to her from Sevastopol. Talismanic accessories decorate her fair body which she probably shouldn't be wearing, clusters of charms, skulls, gems and a tiny dagger to ward off evil spirits at her neck and gold rings playing up and down her fingers, carefully hiding the anchor tattoo on her ring finger as a reminder of the last voyage she took with her family. Her cool steely eyes don't reflect her politely anti-waif, earthy mood. She wished, in fact, for blue - cold and girly she thought, and like her mothers. She has tawny, choppy and unkempt hair that she folds into a French twist while she rushes to her new lessons.

She has a great appreciation for her magical education as she traveled Europe with her much-in-love, new age parents until the age of 10 when she settled in a Scottish school and felt very behind and kind of bored. Then the letter came.
