ElinorSayre aka Elinor de Velville Sayre is a part-veela witch living in between Coventry and Ars-en-Re. She wields a 15¼" Rosewood, Unicorn Hair wand, and is a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. Her favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and her favorite Harry Potter character is the Weasley Twins.

About Me
Elinor Sayre looked upon the castle of Hogwarts as a new adventure, a way in which to follow in the footsteps of her favourite book characters from what she's found is called "the muggle world". Never in her wildest dreams did she believed her ability to fall from a tree unscathed was her showing her ability to perform accidental magic. When the Headmistress walked through the doors of her mother's family home in Coventry she could see the change on her mother's face as she explained over hundreds of years, potentially, that the ability to perform magic was passed on to her.

Elinor's family were far descendants of Roland de Velville, the illegitimate son of King Henry VII. Her father's choice to adopt this name after extensive family research left a horrible taste in her late grandmother's mouth, but he left it to his wife to decide the fate of her children's family name. Having reached Hogwarts for her sorting, she was shocked as the Grey Lady of Ravenclaw Tower abruptly ended her discussion at the sound of her name, and flew over to the Gryffindor House ghost. Both apparitions headed back over with inquisitive looks about them.

"I knew your ancestor very well, Elinor, too well some would say." Sir Nicholas whispered softly his eyes soaking in every feature available of the young girl. "Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, a member of the royal court of King Henry VII who ordered my separation from my head."

Elinor looked upon the ghostly figure with apprehension, would the acts of her distant family come to haunt her, quite literally, or was it safe to say, attending Hogwarts with her questionable roots could separate her families acts against those of magic power from the one who has brought them all to light.
