The Aduial's claim to a pure blood status is generally accepted among most pure blood families; however, there are some who are skeptical of the Aduial's claims. Even without their pure blood status, they influence a fair amount of the wizarding world; however, the Aduials rarely make this known-preferring to lurk in the shadows.

The Aduials are noted to be particularly close to the Slight Family-both in blood and friendship. It is not uncommon to trace the two families' lines and find that they intersect more than once every other generation or so.
