IvanMarstonov aka Monsieur Chanal (He/Him) is a 32 year old (DOB: September 11, 1991) muggle-born wizard living in the Lady Merciful. He wields a 15½" Oak, Ashwinder Ash wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and his favorite Harry Potter character is Unmasked Darth Vader.

About Me
Born on a ship sailing on the Atlantic Ocean, Ivan has spent the majority of his life aboard boats rather than houses and among crews rather than family.

This particular way of life has given Ivan a strong sense of team spirit and he's aware of the strength of a tight knit group. On the other hand, getting to know other people isn't an easy task for him, resulting in him being most often seen wandering around alone, bearing a melancholic look on his face.

The frigate he used to sail with has run aground in England because of a supernatural storm he couldn't handle. Since then, he has been trying to rather the elements required to repair his vessel and return to his beloved sea.
However, this quest appears to be more complicated than it could seem first-hand, as the world Ivan landed in isn't really the one he expected to find while setting foot on the beach...

His frigate-class (small type) ship is named Lady Virtuous. Albeit damaged, it still serves him as a comfortable home, to which he returns every night, after searching in the Forest whatever unbelievable treasures it holds, in hope of finding what he needs to depart.
Shortly after his arrival, he has been gifted a fine sailing ship by CharlieShadow, which he decided to name Lady Merciful, as a tribute to his previous vessel.

He wears a traditionnal navy uniform and white cap most of the time, although he likes the rather uncommon outfits popular in these lands, and fancies wearing one sometimes.
His rough features are evidences of his russian roots.
