From the outside, nothing was ever really odd about how Laverna was raised. In fact, if you asked anyone who knew the family she came from, they would inform you that they were an ideal family. But like most families, this one had it secrets.

Named after the goddess of her parents chosen profession, she only knew that their excitement for the gift she posessed, as explained by the strange man who called himself a wizard to her family, only meant that it would be harder for the young girl to leave the family business. Now knowing that this could be her best chance to distance herself from the life of crime that surrounded her, she packed up her bags and left to find the world that she was now able to be a part of.

Leaving the house, she started her journey to the school that was waiting for her.
