What does one do, when they suddenly find themselves alone? They survive.
Manon's mother was a siren, who left her waters to ensnare a human man, for hope of having a daughter. She succeeded and became pregnant. However, when the child was born, she realized that she had not lain with a mortal man, but a wizard. Her child would be a witch. Disgusted, she left the child at the home of a family, on their doorstep. Manon was raised in a muggle home, with no knowledge of her heritage.
The girl received her Hogwarts letter when she was eleven. Her adopted family didn't understand, and didn't want, a child with her abilities, and they too cast her out. Now, she attends Hogwarts during the school year, and spends summers in an Orphanage in Ottery St. Catchpole.
A shy girl, Manon isn't very good at making friends. She's quiet, and prefers the company of music and books over that of the people around her. With a beautiful singing voice, she can enrapture any with a simple tune, if so she chose.
