She is wild, to put it mildly. Just not in the way most people would expect.
Wild- (adj.) uncontrolled or unrestrained
Being the daughter of Lacey, as well as a Roku, Mattie puts aside her divergent personality at appropriate times, proceeding to behave quite politely.
Still, she is a dreamer. Her vivid fantasies take her on journeys to her own Neverland; an endless island of infinite possibilities.
Now entering her second year at Hogwarts as a Gryffindor, Mattie is being shoved into the mildly cruel reality of independence. Most steer clear of this intelligent transcendentalist. Some mock her behind carefully hoisted veils. Others merely laugh and go on with their lives, refusing to see the fatherless child as someone worthy of time or words.
