Quidditch Today decided to sit down with Maxx Blythe -Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies and recently awarded Female Rookie of the Year- to discover more about this Quidditch cutie.
Quidditch Today: We; are honored to have you here with us today, Ms. Blythe. Please, do tell us about yourself.
Blythe: Oh, feel free to call me Hex. That was what my friends back at Hogwarts would call me, namely the Slytherin Quidditch team. You see, Jarin Harte, or better known as Jynx Valiant, was Captain of the Quidditch team at the time. One night after a long, brutal practice, we all got together and began discussing the future. Oh, what will we be, what teams will we play for? Eventually we decided that we would use different, unique names if we ever made it big. Perses Rosier of the Wasps, Marietta Fisher of the Prides, and as I mentioned Jarin Harte of the Falcons all use different name. It is our sort of way to stay close, like the friends we were in Hogwarts.
Quidditch Today: From what we can see, you and Jarin seem to be more than just friends. How do you keep the romance alive?
Blythe: I won*t deny, it is very hard to have time for each other. During the season we both are far too busy practicing and playing to see each other. That is excluding, of course, the matches that we play against each other. Off season, however, I love to spend all my time with Jarin. Ever since our Fourthyear of Hogwarts, when we started going out, I truly fell in love with him.
