The mysterious Melanie has no past that she can recall. Her memories start from the day she began Hogwarts, where she was left with nothing but a diary from her mother. The diary told her secrets that her mother had kept and written down, knowing someday she would have to leave her daughter behind.

Mel's mother was a Veela and her father a wizard. The two met and were married in a whirlwind romance that ended in fire and ruin. Melanie's father, Judawin, worked for the dark lord and her mother was soon sought after, for her beauty, by a high ranking death eater. To save his wife they fled, leaving behind their baby girl whose mind they obliviated, so she wouldn't remember them.

Melanie has a short petite frame and long, thick red hair that usually flows freely down her back, kissing at her hips. Her bright blue eyes stand out on her fair, pale skin. She is normally found wearing purple, her favorite color, on her slender frame.
