Having been shuffled through the wizarding foster system since her birth, Mireille was well aware of her status as a witch, but rather hazy on her familial ties. She was certain of her surname, and noted that it was present in the 'Pure-Blood Directory' that she found on an early exploration of her first home's surroundings. The Rosiere family was noted as one of the oldest families, related to the Black, Prince, Lestrange, and Malfoy families.
But why did they have no notes as to her immediate relatives? The answer was simple: they were Death Eaters, and in the struggle to keep Mireille away from Dark Magic, the families in charge of her well-being attempted to purge her life of said magics.
