Goddess MystJynx aka Aliana (She/Her) is a half-blood witch living in Hogsmeade. She wields a 12½" Walnut, Dragon Heartstring wand, and a member of Gryffindor. Her favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and her favorite Harry Potter character is Severus Snape.

About Me
Aliana is the product of two bohemian parents who travelled the breadth and depth of North America learning about the magics of the indigenous peoples while living among the No-Maj. Since their lives were nomadic, Aliana was home-schooled as well as being tutored by the different people her family came across.

When Aliana turned 16, she decided she would like to attend Hogwarts after coming across a British ex-pat witch who lauded the school. After taking OWLs at the British Ministry of Magic, she achieved Os in Charms, Transfiguration, Potions and DADA as well as Es in Herbology and Ancient Runes and was allowed to take NEWT subjects at Hogwarts. She was originally sorted into Slytherin house, but since it was full, the hat placed her in Gryffindor. After graduation, she apprenticed and achieved her mastery in Charms.

Sadly, her parents were killed in a freak No-Maj car accident during her apprenticeship. As the last living member of her old wizarding family line, she inherited their remaining fortune, which has now allowed her pursue her newest passion: ancient magic, especially in Great Britain. Her pursuits have her walking the tightrope between light and dark magics, while fortunately, her Charms and DADA training (and the occasional auror) has saved her life and limb a few times.

Aliana is 5ft-3in tall with brown-black wavy hair and dark brown eyes. She seems aloof at first, but once her trust and respect is earned, she can be a loyal, fun-loving and easy-going friend. Her hobbies include traveling, theatre and reading ancient texts. She is single but is kept company by her loyal but protective manticore Caliban.
