PetraDarnell (She/Her) is a muggle-born witch living in a treehouse. She wields a 9¾" Vine, Unicorn Hair wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. Her favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and her favorite Harry Potter character is Remus or Nymphadora. Or both.

About Me
She was timid. Never spoke. Not at the orphanage, at least. It didn't help that they taunted her; there were nasty remarks about her dreams. They were all that she could hold on to, though. Petra remembered the smell of smoke. Her mother's voice, strained and desperate. Other voices, too. Dark and raspy ones that belonged to cloaked figures. Everything was blurry, the scene fading in and out. And then she woke up. Maybe she should have been scared, but it was all that Petra had.

After learning of her powers, Petra was apprehensive. She was curious, however. Petra did quite a bit of research, but couldn't find any magical ties in her family. The conclusion of her blood purity was obvious: muggleborn, of course. There were very many muggleborn witches and wizards who had done quite well for themselves, so Petra wasn't too worried.

After coming to Hogwarts, Petra hasn't found her voice just yet. She takes comfort in gardening, spending most of her time in the greenhouses, and generally does well in her studies. She relies on her wand for combat, if any, and tends to over think things.

If she isn't in the greenhouse, Petra can be recognized by her dark brown hair, falling to her shoulder blades. She has wide, doe-like eyes framed by glasses and a smattering of freckles on her nose. Petra stands at 4'9, quick and agile, but lacks body strength.

When she returns to the orphanage for the summer, Petra keeps a low profile. She cherishes her time alone and spends most of her time outside, either gardening or reading.
