One of these things is not like the other; one of these things just isn't the same.
She was never supposed to find out, of course. Who would want their child wandering with the knowledge that she was simply different? How did she know, though? Her name didn't fall into the same qualifications as the other true-born children's. Kieryn, Kayden. Two did not meet the cut also, but they were adopted- Semira and Hydra. They had their own little thing. They belonged.

What was wrong with being special? Being herself? The fact that herself was barely close to perfect. Sara was... odd. Of course, they all had magic. Except for her. Poor little Squib, poor little beast. It seemed to have come too early, the power, and was simply sent off in her terrified rage, when her mother was lost to her. When the voice came, and left.
Does she even speak?
She felt shamed into staying silent, not willing to share the knowledge of her mind with others. Witty, obnoxious, and occasionally cruel words are the only things persuaded to pass her lips- especially when talking to her family. And Sara Beth dropped her middle name, cold and frustrated with the world.
