SebastianLoxius aka Baz (He/Him) is a pure-blood wizard living in The Hog's Head. He wields a 13" Oak, Dragon Heartstring wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat.

About Me
Professor Sebastian Arthur Fitzwilliam Loxius was born into an affluent wizarding family in North Hampshire, England in 1728.

After becoming highly acclaimed in all aspects of his academia during his schooling at Hogwarts, his particular talent in innovative potions earned him an Order of Merlin, First Class at the age of just 24.

It was two years after this that he first became apprenticed to Nicholas Flamel, who tutored him in becoming a master alchemist and assisted him in making his own philosopher's stone. First utilising the stone's powers at the age of 28, he has retained his youthful features for over two centuries.

Although he became a brilliant alchemist in his own right, publishing renowned works such as An Introduction To Alchemy, Brew Yourself Rich and The Ultimate Potions Guide, Sebastian would never publish any of his work without first consulting his mentor. Of course, Flamel had other apprentices over the years, but none matched Sebastian's natural ability and genius that earned him his accolade. Sebastian had several apprentices and spent some years as Potions Master at Hogwarts, but people came and gone, fleeting in and out of his life as he remained young.

His only true friend was Flamel, who mentored him in all aspects of life over the two centuries they spent together. After Flamel's death, Sebastian realised the loneliness of his life. His family and all the friends he had once had were long dead and gone. Even his work became meaningless, unfulfilling; what was the point in extending life when death would always prevail? He virtually disappeared from the public eye, only being spotted now and again drinking in The Hog’s Head, where it was thought he had taken residence. The downward spiral his life had suddenly taken was visible proof of the disadvantage of genius. He has spent the last two decades working on one final puzzle, which he is still endeavouring to solve: a way to defeat time and death itself.
