Stefan (He/Him) is a wizard. He wields a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat.

Stefan Aila was four years old when the house that he and his parents lived in was burnt to the ground. The blaze killed his parents, leaving him an orphan. But that wasn*t the only thing that happened to him. When he was trying to escape, a piece of wood fell and hit his face. The flames on the wood burnt his right eye, damaging it to the point where Stefan was left completely blind in that eye. Despite the fact that he had gotten hurt, everyone seemed to believe that he had started the fire, that he was responsible for the death of his parents, and so they locked him up in a mental institution. For years, Stefan was completely alone. He wasn*t allowed anywhere near the other patients, was never allowed out of his room and he had to cope with his loss of sight all on his own. So it wasn*t too much of a surprise that he went a little crazy, developed a voice in his head that he constantly talked to, the voice became his only friend. And finally, when he was twelve years old, Stefan managed to escape the institution. However he knew he would be hunted so he left America and came to England. He also changed his last name to Salvatore, a name that he remembered from something (not that he can remember what it was). And before long he received a letter inviting him to Hogwarts. He took up the invitation and went to the magical school. But he continued to keep to himself, something he had just grown completely used to. And he continued to talk with the voice in his head. And so for years he focused on his schoolwork while doing his best to lie about who he truly is, not wanting to be found out and thrown back into that horrible institution
