TristanNovak (He/Him) is a half-blood wizard. He wields a 10¾" Holly, Phoenix Feather wand, and a member of the unsorted masses of Hogwarts students just off the train eagerly crowding around the Sorting Hat. His favorite Harry Potter book is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and his .

About Me
Tristan is the youngest of three siblings born into a family that has hunted werewolves for four hundred years. After the werewolf responsible for the decimation of a port town on the White Sea tore open his wife as he tried to protect his son, Mikhail Novak swore to cut down the beast himself, and any others like it.

Tristan, along with his brother, Sacha, and sister, Vanya, were all raised with little tolerance for non-humans, taught to fear anything with a monster inside. Then, at the age of eight, Tristan and Vanya, then eleven, were taken captive by the werewolf Caelan who attempted to plead some form of sense from the children, that he was a man, not a beast, he wanted to harm no one, and he was just as afraid to die as they were. They were released, and tried to persuade their father to let this one go, that perhaps they were not all bad.

The night of their return, however, fell upon a full moon, and their father, Ivan, too incensed to remember what night it was, or to listen to the pleas of his children, went to hunt the the werewolf that had taken them. He returned by morning, a bloodied gauze wrapped around his arm doing nothing to stop the spread of the werewolf venom in his system, and he said his goodbyes. Twenty-seven days later, he took his own life.

Sacha was 17 when Tristan received his Hogwarts acceptance letter, and discovering that his youngest brother was a wizard gave a new hope in searching for their mother. Their father had informed them of her death, but Sacha had always sworn there was more to it. Now the Novak siblings are faced with the prospect that magic is, not only real, but used by those who have no evil intentions. It gives them hope in turning the tides with others like their father, other families and clans sworn against anything non-human. It is a long road, and the mission is not easy, but it is decidedly more promising than the endless fear and hate that once darkened their lives.
