Estranged from both sides of her family, Wynona Black fights a daily battle against becoming a recluse. There's nothing she'd rather do than spend all her time in her laboratory, working toward the breakthrough that will grant her a coveted Potion's Mastery. Nearing nineteen years of age, the young witch has found a sense of peace in her life. She enjoys the routine of working in her lab, being a part-time assistant at Diagon Alley's Apothecary, and returning home to solitude.

Ever since the potions accident in seventh year, life has been a little.. off for her.

Eyesight marred - to the point that she now needs spectacles to see - and hair chopped short, the former Ravenclaw has begun to notice something strange about the world around her. Everyday objects, animals, and even people seem to have this strange overlay. It shows in the form of varying colours on the natural spectrum, hovering just above or just beneath the skin. She's not quite sure what it is yet, but the answer is sure to make itself known soon.

Word of her Potions prowess has gotten around, it seems, for a mysterious, captivating woman has approached her with offer of a job. The work will surely not be easy, but her analytical mind longs for it. She has accepted the offer, and will soon find herself awash with controversy and excitement.
